Summer is here, and First — Tee Tulsa is excited to announce an upcoming opportunity for First Tee — Tulsa competitive players!

Who is it for? It’s open to all First Tee — Tulsa students ages 13 and under who are registered in the 2023 First Tee — Tulsa summer session. The child must be able to walk and carry their own bag (or push their cart) without assistance, play 9 holes in 2 hours or less, and keep their score accurately.

How does it work? After establishment of the First Tee — Tulsa (FTT) team following the tryouts, the FTT will play against two other teams in the Tulsa region. Each visiting team will play at Mohawk Park Golf Course and we will then go to their course and play a match – it is designed much like little league baseball.

What does it cost? The cost is $75 per player. There is a possibility we will receive a grant from the PGA to cover the cost, we will know more at a later date. If the grant does not come through, First Tee — Tulsa will pay the fee for players who need financial assistance.
